Bill & Kathy at Work
Photography is our shared passion
Through sharing our photographs we have also discovered the therapeutic nature of viewing photographic portfolios. As a retired EMT & Firefighter and providing non medical transportation for people with severe head and body injuries I have often seen the calming effect photography has on these cases. Our prints hanging in physical therapy offices have proven beneficial to their patients as well.
Kathy and I love the challenges of photography and the story behind each picture. When people see the beauty or the story in a photo and share places, people or things including those that may no longer exist, then we have done the right job. Bolio Photography has evolved from our passion to share the beauty and variety of both scenic and historic venues in the world around us, as well as helping others document special events such as weddings and anniversaries. Bringing out a person's true nature in our portraiture photography is personally satisfying as well.
I'm Bill Bolio and, with the assistance of my wife Kathy, have photographed many different subjects from people, plants, animals, waterfalls & other scenics, to lighthouses, covered bridges, and other historic locations. Together we enjoy sharing our vision of the many locations we have been privileged to visit.
Living in Michigan has made lighthouses and lake scenes some of our favorite subjects. We also enjoy sharing this artistry at art fairs and teaching classes at schools and libraries. We look forward to sharing with you.
